Gerald Fournier
is a Professional Home Designer who has been working in
the Southeastern Michigan Blue Water area since 1967. He
attended United Technical Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
achieving his diploma for Architectural Drafting; he
went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Civil
Architecture at St. Clair Community College; and
furthered his education by attending Lawrence Technical
Institute.
Mr. Fournier was
engaged in the home building business with R.J. Smith
Blue Water Homes from 1967 until 1996. In the mid-1980s, he served on the East China Township Planning Commission for four consecutive years. Since 1996,
Gerald has devoted all his experience to total design
practices. He was honored to become a Professional
member of the
American Institute of Building Design in May,
2001, having met all of their requirements for
membership.
With more than
30 years of home building and design experience, which
includes not only the design aspect but also estimating
and hands on construction labor, this designer is unique
to total home designing. He has more than one thousand
completed projects designed and constructed in the area
so experience is not a problem!
